Introducing the letter M

Caleb's wrestling season has come to an end.  A few weeks ago we attended the awards dinner.  Caleb was so excited that he lettered in wrestling.  I was excited too!  If you remember my post (click on the word "post" to read it) from last year you will understand how BIG of an accomplishment this was for me......Oh ummm, I mean for him!  It wasn't an easy season, in fact, one kid on his team broke his neck at practice.   I was a mess the entire season worrying about Caleb every day he attended practice.  It made me thankful that Caleb only broke his collar bone last year.  Even though I am glad the season is over I did enjoy watching him wrestle.  Congratulations Caleb, we are proud of you!

Sweet Moments

A few days ago I caught a sweet moment between my two babies.  You see, most of the time CJ and Caite Beth pester each other.  The kind of pestering that can only exist between a brother and a sister. But, on this particular afternoon CJ was reading Catie Beth a book.  They were getting along beautifully.  Catie Beth was asking CJ a lot questions.  He was being so patient with her, sweetly answering all her silly questions.

I tend to get caught up with the busyness of life that I miss these sweet moments.

I am so thankful that I got to witness this moment and I hope to catch a lot more of them in the future!

Student of the Month

Cody is the Student of the month for March.

We are extremely proud of our kids (just in case you didn't notice)!

Cody's school hosts a breakfast once a month to honor one student out of every class for showing the three R's; Respect, Responsibility, and Right choices. Our family enjoyed doughnuts and the choice of juice or milk.  We had the honor of visiting with Cody's teacher as well.  Ms Horn is a fantastic teacher!  We have been very lucky to have her in our sons life.

After breakfast the principal called Cody up to the front of the room and gave him his certificate and other goodies.

This is Cody standing with his teacher, Ms Horn is the one in purple.

Congratulations Cody!!  We are so proud of you!!

14 Years

14 years ago I was a blushing bride, walking down that long aisle toward my future husband.  I had butterflies in my tummy.  My heart felt like it was going to burst it was so full of love for my husband.  Today, not much has changed!  We still have that love that causes butterflies in your tummy and makes your heart skip a beat.  Steve and I have been so very blessed in our marriage.  We look forward to many more years of wedded bliss!
