No progress but at least we have some answers….

Last week Steve and I had finally had it with the wait so we contacted our Congressional office again. On Friday our contact at the office called USCIS and asked some more pointed questions and found out that we are actually waiting on the first baby’s visa approval to arrive back at USCIS from the National Visa Center (NVC). After this finally arrives they can officially withdraw her approval and process the approval for our new baby. Our contact at the Congressional office then contacted the NVC and asked what the hold up was and was told that it takes 30-60 days for them to process it back to USCIS. He also told her that there were hundreds of people in front of us in line. Remember we requested this to be done back on Dec. 21st but nobody did anything about it until Feb when we filed for the new baby’s Visa. So to say that I am frustrated is an understatement. In theory we have quite a wait still ahead of us and I am to the point of tears. But on the other had God is bigger than the USCIS and the NVC and now we know more specifically what to pray for. Anyway it looks like April is out for us. The earliest we could travel is looking like May.
